Segmentation Failure - Transformer Links

Hi DS Gurus,

We recently migated the jobs from DS 7.5 to DS 8.5. One of the job, which ran fine in 7.5, is failing in 8.5 with segmentation failure. When we have done the trouble shoot, after splitting the job in to 2 jobs then the job is working fine. We have observed that, one of the transformer in the job is having around 30 to 40 ouput links. When we split the half of the links to another job, the job is running fine in 8.5. We haven't seen any issues in the 7.5 with the same job with 40 output links.

Another question is, instead of split the job in to 2 jobs, can we use 2 transfomers in the same job? does it really make sense?

Any help, thoughts and Ideas will be appreciated.

I'm presuming you have engine, services and repository tiers on one machine. This combination is far more demanding of resources than the version 7.5 server (engine only). You're running out of memory when you run the big job. Solution is to add more memory.
