Information Analyzer column analysis error

Hi Experts,

We have the following environment setup for IIS 8.5 across AIX 6.1 platform.

(1) Computer A : Domain tier + colocated engine tier
(2) Computer B : Separate engine tier
(3) Computer C : Metadata repository(Oracle 10g)
(4) Computer D : Client tier


While trying to run column analysis jobs by using Information Analyzer, we get the following error.

Error Message : The agent at Computer B:31531 is not available.

Now if we run the same column analysis task one more time, it runs fine.We get this error for every alternate run.

Do you guys have faced this issue. Kindly share your thoughts.

I also experienced many strange issues with Information Analyzer on the 8.1.2 version and just gave up on the product. However, IBM now has a product from a company they acquired named InfoSphere Discovery and it looks much better. Maybe you can get Discovery instead?
