SAP connectivity in Datastage EE

Post by satadru.kar »

Can anybody please guide me on SAP connectivity on datastage EE? Is there any way that we can extract or load data from SAP by using datastage px? I heard about a plug-in called " IDOC extract stage". Any document on that is really helpful for me.

Can anybody send me any document on "IDOC extract stage"? My mail -id is satadru.kar@gmail.com.
Thanks,
Satadru Kar

Hi,

Have you tried searching? There are lots of posts on SAP. Perhaps you could start with this one.

The only real documents available are the Ascential/IBM docs, which are copyright and are only available when you purchase a product licence.

Please Note: Posting the same question into multiple forums does not increase its visibility, or its chances of receiving a response.

J.

Search on keywords "IDOC extract stage". You will get reading material with the plugins which will give you full description of its functionality and on the "how to's" with respect to usage. If you are interested to get trained specific to SAP R/3 PACK, then click here.

You can connect to SAP by using DS's SAP PACKS.There you will get stages to read/write from/to SAP.
