sequential file warning

sequential file warning

I have a warning from sequential stage which is capturing rejects from table.


Invalid character conversion found converting to ISO_8859-1:1987, substituting.


please suggest if any changes are required?

It seems to be like NLS Map issue.

You need to know about the data!

Do you mean the metadata coming in?

There are other jobs which are of same kind but they do not show this warning.


Do I need to check the fields and data in it?

Try define Character fields as Unicode and make sure NLS is enabled and supported mapping are defined.

Used unicode for all char and varchar fields also checked the NLS settings at project level which says loaded for all maps.



Please suggest what is supported mappings? do you mean the mappings before the sequential file.
