"Load SQL from file" option for Before/After stage

Post by shankar_ramanath »

Hi,

I am trying to use "Load SQL from file" option in the Before/After tabs in the DB2 UDB stage in a Parallel job. The job hangs, but works fine if I use the same option in the "Main Query" tab.

I am wondering if anyone has used this option with Before/After tabs.

Thanks,

No can do, from everything I've seen that's "Main Query Tab" functionality only.

Using the {FILE}/pathname.sql works for Before/After tab as well.

I am not sure if this has anything to do with Fix Patch 1 for Version 8.1 that we applied recently.

But it works!!!

Complacent? :?

Hopefully this quoting makes the meaning of my comment more apparent. I wasn't questioning whether it "really worked" or not but was asking re: your doubts with recently applied Fix Pack 1.

OK. I did not realize that the comment was specific to FP 8.1 as I took it as a general response to my posting. Sorry.
