Job running for long time

Job reads from file, aggregate and insert a record in to a table.

our job inserted a record into a table.but for 30 minutes it show in running status.

i have verified there is no deadlock in database.

please help...

You have to give more detial...
Like...How you are inserting into table? ..a) load/upsert

job will insert one record.

we observed record already inserted.

What is the last log event in the direcotor log.Can you see any thing like Parallel job reports successful completion.
