Hi Gurus,

We are migrating from the 8.7 version to the 11.5. Every night I export the project via a script using dscmdexport.exe in both versions.

I'm very surprised by the size of the 11.5 dsx vs the 8.7 dsx. For the same project the 8.7 dsx is 180 MB and the size of the 11.5 dsx is 3 GB.

Perhaps you are running into a known issue about the DSX file size becoming very large. The issue and the patch has been discussed on this site a few times.

Many stage types have many more properties in 11.x compared to 8.7. Several stage types dump their logic, in the form of XML documents, into the export file. And, of course, more stage types are available.
