Unable to run the datastage jobs

Hi Folks,

We are facing a issue where we are unable to run any of the jobs from designer nor director.

When tried running jobs it does nothing. We checked in director the status was showing only compiled status but the job actually did not run. Not sure whats the issue. Can any one share your thoughts.

you have to be more specific on whats happening.

What do you mean by when you are trying to run the job, are you speaking about you clicked the run button and it does nothing? Is that what you mean ..btw ..did you try to execute it through dsjob command ???

Perhaps it's the buttons in the tools. Try running from the menu. If this works, close the Designer and Director windows (ideally re-boot the client machine) and start with newly-opened clients.
