How to configure ODBC DSN for Teradata database

Dear Team,

Kindly suggest the steps for configuration of ODBC DSN for Teradata database.

OS : WINDOWS.

We have done the configuration but still DSN is not available for import the metadata.

Note : We want to above configuration to import the table definitions.

Please suggest details steps.

For Windows, you need to use the 32 bits ODBC to configured based on 32 bits driver if you're using the 64 bits Windows.

You also need to add the necessary DSN name in the uvodbc.config in the following directory -
DSHOME/Server/DSEngine - This will need to have all the DSN for all the ODBC required.
DSHOME/Server/Projects/ProjectName - You can control by just providing the DSN required for the Project.

Use the ODBC Administrator from the SYSWOW64 folder.

Make sure that you do not create a User DSN, since DataStage will not recognize it.
