OS for install Infosphere datastage server edition 9.1.2

We are planning to migrate all the ds jobs from Ascentiial datastage 7.5 server to Infosphere datastage 9.1.2 server edition.

We want to install Infosphere datastage server edition 9.1.2 on Windows.

I have read in the IBM website that, OS Microsoft Windows 2012 server, is the IBM Supported OS , however, Microsoft Windows 2008 server is the Certified Base OS for install of 9.1.2

I wanted to know, if any one of you have installed Infosphere datastage server edition 9.1.2 on Microsoft Windows 2012 server and if it is working normally without any issues.
