Need info on IBM Infosphere specific to Hadoop and BIG DATA

Hi Gurus,

I am working on Datastage 8.x and we are trying to address BIG DATA using Hadoop.

BIG Data is unstructured /semi structured data and Hadoop is open source connectivity to access Big Data.

Informatica 9.1 hot fix2 is giving all features to work on BIG DATA using Hadoop.

Kindly let me know which feature of IBM or IBM InfoSphere suite is providing similar features to work on BIG DATA using Hadoop.

Big Data support ((stage)) in DataStage version 8.7 supports Hadoop file system, but otherwise looks and feels (deliberately) like Sequential File stage.

Hi Vishwanath,

Information Server 8.7 was already released on or around October 25, 2011 and supports the technologies you were asking about.
