Connection problem of DS and DB2 ...

Hi All,

I have two dB2 databases with different versions 7.1.2 and 8 . I am working on data Stage 7.5.2. I have the client instance of DB2 version 8 installed in DS Server and working fine. Now I need to work with DB2 of version 7.1.2. But I am not able communicate with DB2 7.1.2.
So my question is do I have to install the client instance of 7.1.2 db2 also in DS server even when I am having a higher DB2 version 8 already installed . And if I need to install then can I have client instances of both DB2 versions installed in the DS server .

Using one client, your desktop, can you communicate to both versions??? If you can then I bet you can do the same within datastage as well.
