Install datastage 8.7 in windows7

Hi All,

When I try to install the server datastage 8.7 in windows7 ,after that ,when start the serve ,I got some issue .

I check the install platform request seems not include windows7,any one have any ideas to help me make sure windows7 can not install datastage8.7 ?

The only Windows platform on which you can installed Information Server 8.7 is Windows Server 2008 R2.

This is documented in the Planning, Installation and Configuration guide.

Thanks Ray ,Last night ,I found I can run the jobs on win7 ,I am still wondering ,but anyway thanks so much !

The Client components can be installed on Windows 7. As far as I am aware an attempt to install the other tiers results in a fairly immediate "unsupported platform" error.
