DataStage Designer collides with QTP -QuickTest Professional

Post by asaf_arbely »

Hi,

Did anyone noticed a collision between DataStage Designer (8.1) and QTP installed on the same client machine?

For some reason, QTP will stop working after installation of Designer.
On the other hand, when QTP is installed after Designer, all Connector stages will not show the properties page... Weird!

Windows is XP SP 3
QTP version 11

Any idea?

It's time to inform your administrator or open a PMR.

What port numbers does QTP use? Do any of these clash with the IBM InfoSphere Information Server port numbers? Does QTP report any startup errors?
