ProfileStage investigates the data through ODBC drivers. You need to set up an ODBC flat file driver that points to the flat files you are trying to profile. You can then commence the process.

Hi mandyli,
1) use Ascential drivers. You may install them from (almost) any Ascential CD.
2) you may want to check if your DSN is working from any ODBC enabled software, even from MS Access (create a linked table, you'll get a series of warnings from ascential driver regarding license that you may ignore it)
3) Check if you have QETXT.INI file in E:\Ascential\ProfileStage\Client\Samples\SouthBreeze folder. If not, check if your DSN is listed in ODBC manager.
4) use system DSN
