We upgraded from v8.7 to v11.5. When InfoSphere Information Server Console icon is double-clicked to open IA, the splash screen displays "Information Services Director" only. I expected "Information Analyzer" to appear as well, but it didn't show up. In the application, I'm unable to add data sources or get to the configuration menu. What's wrong?

IA was not installed, or was not properly installed. Or is not licensed. Start by checking the Version.xml file in the Information Server installation directory.

If that's OK, check that IADB has been created correctly and has been registered.
