Uninstall Information Analyzer

I am attempting to uninstall Information Analyzer from Service Tier and the process get to around 25% and stalls....The process on the server side doesn't appear to be hung. The /tmp logs stop right at the point where the GUI shows "Uninstall.deploy.predefined.US.standard.rules....." However it never moves beyond that. The DBA notices connections from the Service Tier over to XMETA but we do not see any useful information. This has been going on for about 4 hours now. Any help would be appreciated.
