IAUSER password

Post by ascen »

Hi,

We are new in IA. During instalLation of IA the password to USER was set but unfortunately it was not saved anywhere. Is there any option to change this password?

Problem solved. Db2 creates OS users and using OS authentication so the password needs to be changed in OS in our case in Linux using command passwd iauser. Of course you have to be log in as root user.

Important thing: Don't forget to change credentials in IADB jdbc in WebSphere Application Server. Without that Information Analyzer will not be able to connect to analysis database
