Couldn't drop tables created by IADB

Post by Maximus_Jack »

Hi
All the tables created in IADB has a "." in it like "dfdfdfd.eretere.2k0roc.mbnvnvbc_fd", when i tried to drop these tables, it couldn't be dropped getting an error as
SQL0103N The numeric literal ".2k0roc" is not valid. SQLSTATE=42604

is there any way to drop these tables?
and moreover there are few files like C0000.LRG*, C0000.CAT* and C0000.USR in the IADB table space area, which has consumed the entire diskspace, any way to reduce these file sizes?

OS: AIX Unix
DB: DB2 in unix

Just a guess but have you tried quoting the table name when dropping it?

The one you call out is a Column Analysis Frequency Distribution table. You can delete them from the GUI from Investigate > Table Management.
