We created an information analyzer project and imported the metadata. now I want to do column analysis on a table. so I clicked on
INVESTIGATE -> ColumnAnalysis ->
but I found nothing on the Column analysis workspace. It is just empty and tasks pane is completely disabled. I am not sure why ? Please let me know if anybody know the reason.

You imported the metadata as a global task (not within the scope of a project).

Before you can analyse anything, you must go into your Project Properties and "register interest" in some or all of the imported metadata. Only then will table definitions become visible in the Column Analysis (or any other) workspace within your project.

Yes. We assigned the datastore to IA project and its working fine.
