Remove tables from Project Property

I am working on an IA project, which was set up by others.

There are 20 tables in the project data sources, however, I am only interested in 10 of them, therefore I want to delete 10 of them from Project Property-> data sources interface.

I can remove these 10 tables, save all. However some of these 10 tables still appear in datasource list, without any column information.

Does anyone know how to remove them ? why some of these tables are still in the list without any column information?

Try under the Home menu, Configuration, Sources, select a source, Delete. Just be careful what you delete.

Firstly, I tried to remove them from data source, and it failed.

then tried to remove them from project.

This looks to me like a bug, may need a fix pack.

I would guess your ID does not have sufficient privileges (security roles) to perform those deletes. Talk to your administrator or try it using a different user account.
