What version introduced Data Rules?

Post by truenorth »

Can someone please confirm: customisable data rules were introduced in 8.1.1, i.e., the feature was not in 8.0.1.

Vincent's blog states they were released in 8.1.1 in May 2009:

They were not in 8.0.1

The IBM web site suggests it's 8.1.2

Thanks, Vincent. We are in the process of moving to 8.1.2 from 8.0.1. Can't wait to use data rules, because I find IA not too useful without customisable business rules profiling.

I hope you have some good hardware to use for the business rules profiling.

You will find a big increase in the resources for business rules profiling.

Thanks for the heads up, tcj. I'm new to the project and will know more about our h/w in time.
