unable to create datastore in Information Analyzer.

unable to create datastore in Information Analyzer.
I have given an dsn entry in the .odbc.ini file and trying to create a new DataStore in Info Analyzer 8.1 but it throws a typical error saying "ODBC function {0} reported: SQLSTATE = 82: Native Error Code = 0: Msg = 523 80".We are trying this on Information Server 8.1 version.
