Regarding Profile stage source

I am new to profile stage. shell i use any kind of file source to Profile Stage,also can i plug-in profile stage in to Datastage.


Please through some lights.

Yes , where ever ODBC can reach profile stage can reach there.
i mean source analysis should be done using odbc connections not native connection

you can generate datastage job from profile stage.
not sure about plug-in ? what do you mean ?

If the question was - can you use ProfileStage as a plug-in in DataStage - the answer is NO.
