Type Tree from SAP IDOC

Hi guys,
Can I create type tree from IDOC purser report, if that report is in text file or flat file format? As much as my knowledge, We can create type tree from IDOC purser report(Info IDOC) if it is in .ido format. Can we do the same if that file is in .txt format?
