Hi,

I have a DS job that is activated by BW. After the job has been run, i'm not able to open the job in the designer. It gives me the "Job BWMappingJob is being accessed by another user" error.

I've tried to take down the RFC connection for that sourcesystem, but that didn't help.

Is this a normal problem, and is there a solution for it ? do i need to take down the DS Engine whenever i need to correct/update the job ?

I had the same problem, but it was always a user who has a lock on the
job.
So first, check that you have no connections open :
on unix :
netstat -a|grep uv
