Hi Everyone,
I need some help.
When I schedule a job with 'Daily' or 'Every' option,
the schedule appears on
schedule menu (i.e the 'Blue' hour clock appears on
the left side of the Job
name), but if I select the 'Today' or 'Tomorrow'
option, the schedule DOES NOT
appear on the schedule menu (i.e the 'Blue' hour clock
DOES NOT appears on the
left side of the Job name), but the job does get
executed as per the schedule
that has been set up.
Is there a bug in 7 or it's some kind of set up issue?
For information, we are using DataStage 7 on Unix
(AIX) system.
Thanks & Regards,
Bipul

Scheduler in Ver 7
Hi Bipul,
this is not a DataStage bug itself. DataStage use the Unix schedulers at and
crontab.
This is not new to version 7.
It was already in version 3.
As a workaround we only choose, when using scheduler the "every" option for
example every "thursday 6" and we then unschedule the job after it did his
work.
So it is up to you to live with this workaround as we are doing already for
years.
Wolfgang
