ODBC and .dbf bit-fields

Post by admin »

Dear all

We have encountered a problem reading .DBF files through an ODBC-stage from
a Solaris implementation of DataStage ... the contents of the fields of type
'BIT' are always returned as 0.

Has anyone encountered this sort of problem? Can anyone suggest any
appropriate work-arounds?

Thanks
James
