PRINT.ADMIN in UV 9.5/9.6

Hi All,

we have a site that uses PRINT.ADMIN so that users can administer their print jobs. It worked fine in 9.4 but users are unable to modify their print jobs in the universe spooler under 9.5 or 9.6.

Any ideas why? is it broken? are we the only people using PRINT.ADMIN?

Im not familiar with PRINT.ADMIN, we use a program that was written in-house to administer the spooler. We had to make modifications to this program before we could upgrade. In the release notes for the upgrade it lists some SPOOL and SETPTR enhancements. To make these enhancements, the usplog file layout has some additions. My guess would be that PRINT.ADMIN uses the usplog file.

PRINT.ADMIN is only a menu.
Under the covers it accesses (eventually) the command usa and usm that actually control the spooler and queues. These "should" be aware of the new format. I cant actually verify that this week, since Im not where I have easy access to UniVerse on UNIX.
