Subject: command-line-interface for export/import?
exporting / importing jobs is a task, which we have to do, when promoting a job from development to test and on to production. We try to bind as much tasks as possible in routines of pvcs to prevend possible errors based on manual interaction.
Unfortunately DataStage only offers a GUI for this task, or is there something between heaven and earth, which I havent seen yet (only concerning exp/imp, of course)? It would be great to have something like a dsexport / dsimport to be used from the Unix shell.
Any hints? Any tools?

these tools are not supported.
the import/export command has to be used on the client side. Cheers,
