Anyone use Quality Manager?

Post by rdy »

I was wondering if anyone uses Quality Manager very much? I know that Ascential has better products they are selling.

We currently have the tool, but I found it somewhat difficult to use. (I had to import the data into the tool before performing the analysis?)

Been playing around with QM for a while now.

Re your question, you dont have to import all the data to QM to perform analysis. You can use either 1)Internal database 2)external database

Internal database meaning that QM will create a reference in an Access file to point to an external database.

External database meaning is to connect directly to an external database.

difference is that with using internal database, you have to "attach" the tables from external source and all your queries and analysis will be save in your machine. The attachment is just to create a reference not importing the whole data to your machine.

while the exterenal database, all your work will be save in the external database.

Hope this help!
