Metarecon & Metastage - few questions

hi all,
I have few questions on metarecon and metastage. Any example scenarios, pointers/links will be appreciated.

1) Metarecon is a powerful tool (as it seems) for data migartion and operates using metadata. Is it possible for Metarecon to use the 'Metastage metadata repository'? Has any one integrated Metarecon with Metastage?

2) Is the metadata in the metastage repository used only for all the analysis (data lineage, process analysis, impact analysis). How does datastage use this metadata in the repository?
