what should be used to access an XML file

Hi,

there is an xml document. I want the document to be used a source file and extract the data and upload it to the database. for xml there is no help available. Is there a way to read the xml document, if any one done the same, send me.

What release of DataStage are you running?
There exist XML reader and XML writer stage types, in the XML PACK.

The Version is 5.2. XE
While Installation, any specfiy step to be followed.

The documentation that comes with the XML PACK fully describes the installation process. There's nothing I would choose to add to it.
