We re-done our DWH database in UTF-8 mode to use new features (BLUE aceleratio...)

Now we have alot of problem when we write special characters on new DB2.

Our first Datastage version was 7.x so, because of old jobs, we not have enabled NLS feature.

Is there a way to load correctly the records?

I seen, sometime, using API stage (blue stage) instead green stage some field is correct.

Someone have any idea?

Thanks alot

Are you planning on turning on NLS in DataStage or continuing without it?
Specifically what problems are you having when writing to the database?

He meant DB2 "BLU", that is fun to work with and can be incredibly fast or agonizingly slow. We had the latter initially but then got the former after redesigning the load process.

Hi guys, sorry to not answered, but i was in holiday.

My idea is to NOT implement NLS because, when we did, we had got alot of problems with Data and time Datatype; and we have alot of jobs to check.

The big problems we have with green stage (server edition)

Thanks alot.
