During installation the checkbox 'Install WebSphere MQ Plug-in'
(WebSphere MQ Server) was left unchecked. However we do need the MQ
stage (not the new connector).
How can we add this to the current installation? (Information Server
8.5)
MQseries stage add to installation

In the pre 8.x world, you'd have to repeat the installation and it would go into "maintenance mode", allowing you to add any missed optional plug-ins as one of the options. I don't believe that's the case for 8.x but unfortunately don't know off the top of my head what the new procedure might be.

There is a utility dscompinst to install or uninstall plugins after the initial installation.
You can add the MQseries plug-in using:
..\IBM\InformationServer\Server\DSComponents\bin\dscompinst -username <admin-user> -password <password> -locale en_US -install -force ..Install_executables\InfoSvr_v8_5_Wdws_64\is-suite\payloads\DataStageCommon\PluginStages\payload\mqseries.jar -log \tmp\installMQ.log
