DSD.UVOpen Unable to open file - Hash File

hi

I am working on DataStage EPM Server jobs. One of the job creating two hash file. I can view one hash file , when i view another hash file i am getting below error.

DSD.UVOpen Unable to open file

Please respond with remedy.

Has the job been run at least once so the hashed file has actually been created? Can you verify at the O/S level existence and permissions?

Show us the problem and we suggest you a good remedy.

The Hash file is simply not there. Kindly make sure that the file exists, use command line to verify if you need.

Better yet, perform a VALIDATE on the job. There is a tab when you try to run the job for validation.

This will ensure that all resources are available to the job. It will also create any missing Hash tables if you have checked the box in your hashed file stage to create the table.

Ahhh... reminds me of the Good Old Days when you had to Validate your dang jobs to create the hashed files.
