Internal Error (40018) The Given Clink is not valid for any

I got this error while trying to re-open a job sequence
I can Copy the Job , but i cannot delete it.
i searched the posts and found a case that mentiond disk space as a possible reason.
there is enough disk space.
what can i do to get it deleted from the project ?

So, the error posted comes from the attempt to open the job and then you say you cannot delete it with no explanation as to why. Why can't you delete it? What happens, what error(s) are thrown when you attempt to? The same?

The administrator needs to do the following steps:

1) Backup the jobs in the project (usually to DSX files).
2) Get everyone out of the project (important!).
3) Get into the Admin client and select the project
4) Execute the command DS.CHECKER to see if it can resolve the bad ponters (links) in the jobs.
