SFTP with FTP stage version 8.1
Has anyone had a chance yet to play with using port #22 with the FTP stage in version 8.1 ?
If so please post your observations here. Did it work? Did it work well? How (in the stage design) did you specify the keys file on the remote server?

Hi
FTP stage works in server 8.1 but you will have to mention the file path as given ftp://160.61.16.2/\ETRAVEL.csv.
SFTP does not work could not find as how to specify the private key generated by the SSH tool for windows.
If any one have solution for SFTP on windows please let me know
Thanks...........

Right, has nothing to do with DataStage directly. Best to just google for it, for example here is a Linux version but the instructions are fairly generic.

Ok- after struggling with this for a while, I finally decided it wasn't me that had the problem - the stage wasn't working. So I called IBM and sure enough, several weeks later I've finally gotten a patch and SFTP now works. Since it is the PX version - I'm not going to reply with details in this thread, I'll start a new thread in the EE forum.
