AS/400 connection error

All,

DS Admin created catalog DB for AS/400 on Datastage server to connect to AS/400.When i try to connect as/400 using the above DSN, i am getting the following error
DSR.MetaGeta(GET.TABLES)(SQLConnect('MHSDB','MQBAWEB')): BCI Error:
SQLSTATE=58008,CODE=-30000,[DataStage][SQL Client][ODBC][IBM][CLI Driver] SQL30000N Execution failed because of a Distributed Protocol Error that will not affect the successful execution of subsequent commands or SQL statements: Reason Code "0x1254"("02F1"). SQLSTATE=58008
Could anybody guide me ho eto correct the above error.

Check this fix.

I am not sure, this may be the cause. I hope its not because of DS Server
