Datastage windows NT server for 5.x or 7.x

Can Datastage windows NT server for 5.x or 7.x work on Windows XP system. The installation manual informs that it can be installed on windows NT or windows 2000

Nope, won't even let you install it. And it's important to note that while the Client is certified to run on XP Pro, the Server is not. Certified, that is. My understanding is that it does work, but it is important to note the distinction.

Be careful of SP2.

Note also that, with effect from 7.5, DataStage is no longer certified for Windows NT 4.0.
