Alert - QualityStage module for U.S. Address Certification (USAC) Customers - SHA-256 change required

If your organization is using the InfoSphere QualityStage Module for U.S. Address Certification (USAC), then you must take action now to keep your solution running. The U.S. Postal Service has required a change in the way the USAC address reference data files are encrypted. A patch to the USAC module in combination with download, testing and use of SHA-256 encrypted data files is required in order to keep your USAC solution up and running. If your organization has not already received an email notice about this please contact, schallen@us.ibm.com with the email subject of 'Please Send USAC SHA-256 Details' and supply as much of the following information as you can:

- your name, title and email address,
- your organization/company name and location,
- the version of QualityStage you are running (i.e. 9.1.x, 11.3.x, 11.5.x)
- the operating system you are running on (i.e. Linux, AIX, Windows Server version N)

You will receive a reply with additional details on the actions you must take.

Note: The last month the old method encrypted USAC address reference data files will be available is July 2017. The 'new' SHA-256 encrypted data files are available now and will be all that is available beginning in August 2017. Note: USAC requires the application of a patch to utilize the SHA-256 encrypted data files.

Correct. Engine tier only.
And, of course, the new SHA-256 reference files.
