Using AVI outside of IIS

Hi,
Can AVI be used outside of IIS?
For example we have an application in a non-IIS system. Can we have the functionalities of AVI made available there?
Can anyone help, please.

As far as I know, no. However, I may be wrong.
You will need to discuss this with the account manager at IBM, who will need to discuss with QualityStage's product manager. There may be some certain actions you could take to make this possible, and they can tell you so.

You could make a WSDL job to validate the answer and report back to your upstream caller.

Paul's approach does actually use IIS, but sets up the address verification as a web service, so that your "outside" application can invoke it.
As far as I am aware it is not permissible to use AVI outside of QualityStage.
