Can we standardize international phone Numbers

Hi

Is it possbile to standardize international phone Numbers using IBM Qualitystage 8.5 ? If yes what is the process ? Any helpful thoughts or answers are appreciated.

Yes, the "process" is to build a Rule Set. Begin by documenting all the known variations (for example Indian phone numbers are always 10 digits long, but the area code can be anything from 2 to 5 digits of that. Country codes vary from one to four digits. You might consider a lookup table for these.

There is a VPHONE rule set in the 'Other' category that you can use as a template (use the search to find it...).

Edit: VPHONE is for US/CA phone numbers only, but can be modified for others.
