Hi All,

I am new to QualityStage. If possible can any one of you help me out in resolving the below issue?

I have defined the source dataset and frequency dataset. After doing that when I tried to update the test environment the below error message is popping up.....

Error Generating Frequency files : object variable or with block variables not set (91)

Please help me out in getting this resolved.

Thanks in advance.

This one can be tricky...

A few questions:
1. What are you using for your Match Designer database? DB2? Did you create the database using UTF-8 and 32k Page sizes?
2. Do you have identically named ODBC connections on the client and server?
3. Are the data and frequency files both datasets (not sequential files)?

This error message is in the client software. Typically re-booting the client machine is sufficient to eliminate it.

Hi,

Thank for reply. But, still the error is persisting, is there any other way or steps to resolve this issue.

I am using data sets only, will the nls setting is a hard stop for this ?

Hi Ela,

Did you follow all the suggestions?

1) Reboot
2) What are you using for your Match Designer database? DB2? Did you create the database using UTF-8 and 32k Page sizes?
3) Do you have identically named ODBC connections on the client and server?
4) Are the data and frequency files both datasets (not sequential files)?
5) What are you using for your Match Designer database? DB2? Did you create the database using UTF-8 and 32k Page sizes?
6) Do you have identically named ODBC connections on the client and server?

p.s. You may get more attention if you start a new thread instead of adding to an old one...

Hi,

I did a reboot of my client and server machine ad it didn't resolve the issue. I already opened separate post with detailed information here viewtopic.php?t=156129

The test environment is Oracle 11g and dataset (both data and match frequency) are passed. The ODBC name is the same in client and server. The match specification was working perfectly initially. When I renamed it then the issue started.
