How many people are at the conference this year? How is the traffic at the dsxchange booth? Found anyone who wants to buy dsxchange for 2.2 billion?

1. Lots. 5000+
2. Today is the first full day. Quiet in the pre-show expo Sunday night, but that's true of the whole Sunday night thing.
3. Doubt it but, if you do hear of anyone, please let Dennis know.

Monday morning is the 2 hour pre-game show with Wayne Brady. I'm standing in the booth right now doing other things whilst everyone is at the show. The masses shall descend around 11:00am west coast time.

The batteries went dead on the digital camera, I'm going to see if I can scrounge some up. I'll get some pretty pictures up today sometime.

The best conference EVER was in Orlando in 2000, back when it was Informix. The go-go dancers in silver skirts and knee high boots were AWESOME. The T-shirt give away on opening morning was a stampede. It was classic.

This year looks pretty calm from the first impression. I don't think there will be any fighting on the show floor. However, the bags are really good this year. You actually get two bags, and they're more like duffle bugs than backpacks. I guess backpacks are so 90's dotcom.

Philly would have been great! No west coast trip for a Florida guy then. 3 years ago it was in Miami, but I couldn't go that year because of work commitments.

. I think the best KICKOFF ever was in Texas - when they gave us a whole video arcade with unlimited use of all the games and rides and free alcoholic drinks all night. Now that was a childhood fantasy come true...

I wish some of the conferences in Oz were like that.

Free video arcade and booze.

I am really hoping they merge the conferences in Australia into to a bigger conference. That might give them enough interest to hold multiple streams and get some decent entertainment!
