I still have this issue with a switch stage and I'm on version 8.7.

Anyone have any ideea what to do in my case. I really would like to use this stage instead of transformer all over the places.

Thanks Ray.

the question here is not how to find the way to configure the lookup , it's how to do it correctly. Because right now I had to change the stream with the reference to have the input columns at the right place and to be able to set up my range.

The topic is not new but still not clear how to use this one. My main stream has one field key and a date , let say Eff_dt. The reference has a field key and 2 dates Start_dt and End_dt. No duplicates , no multiple records.... a clean lookup. Actually when I edit the lookup range, the headers are in...

The config file is corrupted and from what I hear -istool is not able to find the domain/server name.

So, here we are with the 8x version ... and I'm still not finding the -export option on -dsjob command ! :roll:

Or am I wrong !?

different outputs from difference stage

I have 2 dataset inputs and a difference stage.
Every time I'm running the job it gives me another number of output rows.

The Difference stage input is partitioned on Hash type and sorted by keys.

What am I doing wrong?

On the job sequence is not allowed to write the own code, so I was looking for the confirmation that the Batch job is still an option for this kind of requirement and will be.

I want to control the jobs execution by myself. And I'm looking for the place to write my own routine.
