Hi Mentors, i have one sequence attached with several job like job1--->job2---->job3---->job4--->job5 there is no abosolute depedency between these jobs. only it shuld be run one after on like after job1 then job2 then job 3 now problem is when i run this sequence and when check o/p of job4 it produ...

I am facing a problem
i have source file have one column is of Data type varbinary,
now i want to read it in to varchar in target having 80 column byte by byte
i have serached this topic but did not get concrete answers.
i am looking for help on this.

Frankline.. i did not get you...you mean to edit copy book and re import....if you do so then how would you read the data as its still in cobol format.... i'll add one more point from my experince ...even if u do some opertaion carrying level name if it changes in between then too its generate error...
