Guys, My solution perfectly worked. I just had to generate my file with html tags, like: <pre>Column1 Column2 Column3</pre> <pre>Value1 Value2 Value3</pre> <pre>Value1 Value2 Value3</pre> ... and then call that 'sendmail' command like the link I posted above. I called it from After job sub-routine. ...

I'd also be curious what exactly what see it in Outlook means? You mean the preview pane while still inside the Outlook email? Or after double-clicking the attachment so it opens up in another tool? Assuming the former as the latter would open a csv file in Excel... and if changing the extension ma...

Try a different mail program.

Columns do not line up on emailed reports

Hi everybody! I have an issue. I am trying to send a report by e-mail through DataStage. The job creates a file with their columns perfectly aligned. When I see its structure at the Unix terminal, it is perfect...but when I see it at my Outlook, is it not properly configurated. Example: Outlook View...

I have a list of these 250 jobs, manually generated. Only a list, no .dsx.
There is no name 'pattern' I can use to identify them. As it was mentioned, I made a list based on the main job Sequences, manually.

Thanks in advance,

Ray, In DS designer, If we click on 'properties' (right button on the job name), it opens a windows with a sheet called 'Dependencies'. There you can also find the job names that the Sequence calls, but since there are many of them, the idea is something not that manual, otherwise I would have to co...

Listing jobs called in a Sequence Job (automatically)

Hi everyone!

I would like to know how could I automatically list the names of the jobs that are called in a Sequence job.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

You are completely right, Chulett! I just cut off this option and it worked out. A curiosity: when I execute my .bat, even informing all credentials as you could see, it appears a message telling that 'No Engine Credentials were found'. The utility runs only if DataStage is logged in. Otherwise it s...

At the FROM clause there is the table owner as a parameter.
We usually do it at the jobs and it perfectly works.

Re: SQL30108N A connection failed but has been re-establishe

It is a Lookup Sparse which uses parameter at the where condition so I cant view the data, unless I cut it off.

I didn't think it was about the keys, necessarily, was curious if marking multiples would cause an issue. In the old days I recall the job failing if you'd done that, is it allowed now and actually works? Or does it pick one of the multiples to use? It perfectly works! And it must be these two keys...

:) Hopefully a smart person in xml will help me with this. Thanks anyway Craig. About the keys, yes! I use these two. If I cut them or one of them, or change by another one, it duplicates the tags. It must be exactly like this. (at the current version, without the Avs tags). I tried to add the tag <...

Hello Craig! Actually I am using the XMLOutputPX stage, and the 'trigger' resource to split the file after a certain quantity of registers. I used the "XML stage" once - the new one - to read a XML File, and I think it was very complex. It worked after a big help from an IBM guy who is not...
