DSXchange

DataStage and QualityStage are separate components of the InfoSphere suite and can be bought as part of various packaging options.

The Designer is the client, which works with both DataStage and QualityStage components (depending on which server component you buy).

You might need to pull the column analysis frequency distribution info out of IADB.
Look to the IAAdmin API. This is outside of the IA tool.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but IA only reports on the data it gets.
It can't manipulate it first (Virtual columns can only concatenate fields).

Whenever I've had CAS issues in the past, restarting the NodeAgents has fixed it for me.
