Use Sequential file stage in your datastage job and set the File type property as 'File Pattern' and specify the file path with the pattern.

Have you installed SQL Server 2005 before installing Datastage on the machine.

No, you can not.
Use sequential file stage and Set the Read property as File Pattern.

There is no limit, to use any stage in any job for any no. of times. No doubt, it will impact the performance. :wink:

There is no reason why the job should abort. You can create dataset by using any no. of nodes and can use in any other job, which uses different no. of nodes.

The job will work fine without any issues.

It's always advisable to make datatype identical for Join/Lookup/Merge operations. Change any of your column datatype (either Source or Reference) and then perform JOIN operation.
